1. What we have done
- Provided a skip link, meaningful headings and labelled form controls.
- Made navigation and controls keyboard operable, with visible focus indicators and an Escape-key action for the mobile menu.
- Used responsive layouts, readable text, descriptive image alternatives and status messages announced to assistive technology.
- Respected reduced-motion preferences and blocked the third-party map behind an accessible consent choice.
- Used buttons and links with practical touch-target sizes and colour combinations selected for AA contrast.
2. Conformance status
This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and to support reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010. Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility, so we review new content and changes rather than treating this statement as a one-off guarantee.
3. Known limitations
The optional Google Maps interface is supplied by a third party and may not meet every accessibility need. The full postal address and a standard directions link are provided beside it so the location remains available without using the embedded map. Project photographs may describe the overall project rather than every visible construction detail.
4. Request an adjustment or alternative format
If any part of the website is difficult to use, tell us the page, the problem, the device or assistive technology used, and the format you need. Email carodriveway@gmail.com or use the phone number on our contact page. We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests within two working days.
5. Assessment and review
The website was reviewed using keyboard-only navigation, responsive screen checks, semantic and colour-contrast inspection, followed by manual review of key journeys such as browsing projects, changing cookie choices and submitting an enquiry. We will review this statement after material website changes and at least annually.
